The Solution

Drax Technology delivered a centralised alarm monitoring solution designed to improve real-time visibility and streamline alarm transmission across multiple campus locations. Software, hardware, and graphics programming were provided to the university’s maintenance partner, Premier Fire, who carried out the installation works.

Inputs from various alarm systems were connected to fire alarm panels, while Drax Technology SMaRT Watches were implemented for signal transmission. The software installation enabled real-time alarm reporting alongside graphical visualisation of alarm activity, giving security teams a clearer understanding of events across the estate. The solution was designed to improve operational response while providing scalability for future expansion, supported through Drax Technology’s ongoing support contract.
