Delivering upgraded AMX graphical monitoring systems for Lubrizol
Lubrizol required an upgrade to their existing AMX graphical monitoring systems to improve usability and align them with modern operational standards.
The existing graphics programming had become outdated and no longer matched the systems implemented across other company sites. The organisation required a more intuitive and visually consistent platform capable of improving operational efficiency and user experience. A key challenge involved ensuring that all drawings, device information, and panel configuration files were accurately validated before implementation to avoid inconsistencies or delays.
Drax Technology upgraded the AMX systems with modern graphics programming featuring enhanced 3D zonal layouts and updated mapping for all connected system devices. The new layouts provided a clearer and more intuitive visual representation of the site’s fire alarm systems, allowing operational teams to identify alarms, faults, and affected areas more efficiently.
The project also involved validating and aligning all panel configuration data and drawings to ensure the updated graphics accurately reflected the existing infrastructure and matched standards implemented across other Lubrizol facilities. The upgraded systems improved both operational usability and monitoring consistency across the organisation.
