Implementing advanced fire alarm monitoring solutions for Ford Dunton Technical Centre
Ford Dunton Technical Centre required a modern and scalable fire safety solution capable of supporting the operational demands of a large automotive research and development campus.
The system needed to provide reliable fire detection and centralised monitoring while ensuring seamless communication between multiple fire alarm panels and monitoring platforms across the estate. As the site continued to expand, the infrastructure also needed to support future growth and increased safety requirements without operational disruption.
Drax Technology implemented a large interconnected network of Notifier ID3000 and ID3K fire alarm panels across the technical centre. Using SMaRT Cube technology, the systems were linked together to provide seamless communication and real-time data reporting to multiple AMX graphical monitoring platforms throughout the site.
The installation was designed to integrate efficiently with the technical centre’s existing infrastructure while providing a scalable framework capable of supporting future expansion. Drax Technology also provided ongoing support services to ensure the long-term reliability, maintenance, and operational performance of the fire safety systems as the site continued to evolve.
