Implementing integrated AMX monitoring solutions for Apple’s Cork facilities
Apple required a more unified and scalable approach to monitoring building systems across the Cork site. Existing infrastructure operated across fragmented platforms, making it difficult to achieve centralised oversight and efficient operational management. The organisation also required a solution capable of integrating multiple technologies while supporting future expansion across additional buildings and systems. A key objective involved improving operational efficiency, reducing maintenance complexity, and strengthening response capabilities across fire safety and security operations.
Drax Technology deployed an AMX monitoring system alongside technical partner Chubb to provide centralised visibility across connected building systems. Initially installed to monitor a remote building, the AMX platform delivered real-time insights into fire safety and security operations while creating a scalable framework for wider estate integration.
The system was designed to support future integration with Notifier and Ziton fire alarm panels across Apple’s main headquarters, enabling a more unified and future-ready monitoring environment. Drax Technology also provided ongoing technical support through a dedicated support contract, ensuring continued operational reliability and long-term system performance.
